Small Groups
Book Group - Mondays from 10 -12 in the Library (Zoom option)
Three to eight members meet once a month to discuss a book. On alternate Mondays, they talk about current events and social issues such as anti-racism, white privilege, world religions, aging, and memoir writing.
Recent selections have included The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Demon Copperhead, A Man's Place, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

Sacred Chanting
Music Director Shana Aisenberg explores the meditative practice of chanting styles - e.g. Sufi,
Jewish. No previous musical experience necessary. Donations gratefully accepted.
Women's Lunch Group - 1st Thursday at 12 noon in the Library and in homes
The Women’s Lunch Group meets monthly for a brown bag lunch.

Men’s Group - 3rd Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. (Zoom option)
The Men’s Group meets in members’ homes. We share common concerns, life experiences, and accumulated wisdom, as well as other current topics of interest.

Needle Crafts Ministry - At home and occasionally after the Women's Lunch
Knitters and crocheters create beautiful shawls for UUFESians and members of the community
who might appreciate a gift of warmth and comfort. At present, three or four UUFESians are
knitting, and several shawls and lap blankets are in reserve. Anyone who would like to help
and/or learn to knit would be warmly welcome.

Poetry Group - Tuesdays 4 (Zoom)
UUFESians consider a poet's work over two meetings.The group has also hosts poets on occasion.

Tamworth Meditation Group - Tuesdays/Thursdays at 4:30 in the Sanctuary
An hour of sitting and walking meditation. Meditation instruction available.
